i watched the green knight once, i know a lot about this period now

THE MEDIEVAL AU MEME

PROMPTS.
1. The political marriage. You have married to fulfill your parents’ wishes, to solidify an alliance or to gain political advantage. Is it working out? Do you even like your spouse? Or is the wedding night the first time you meet them?
2. The king & lionheart trope. Gender is a social construct, but knighthood sure as fuck isn't. One is the monarch, one is the knight sworn to protect and obey. Sometimes this can have serious implications. Other times it's just a gateway to touching each other's faces after a battle.
3. What ALES you, My Lord? It is a universally acknowledged rule that if there's a medieval tavern out there, someone's going to get absolutely wasted in it. Hide all the goats.
4. My FAIRE ladies. The faire is in town! From jugglers and puppet shows, to merchants setting up a stand to sell their wares at, to a jousting tournament with all the egoes competing, this one's got it all! Who your characters are is up to you - just remember: if you set it on fire and run, nobody can force you to pay for it.
5. It's all about the aesthetics. The bonus option: link to some pictures to serve as prompts, if that's the kind of memes that float your boat.
